About a year ago, I quit my job to stay home and take care of my health. We are so blessed that Jon has an amazing job as a Physical Therapist just down the road, but medicine is expensive. So I started looking for ways to make passive income, as I was not up to doing much to earn money. So after about a year of trying out different options, here are my {6} favorite ways to make passive income and how I prefer to use them. They don’t bring in a lot, but the effort is very minimal and every bit helps.
{My 6 Favorite Passive Income Options}
{1} Ebates: Ebates has given us the most money out of all these options. My husband signed up for an account and installed a button on his internet browser. Now, anytime he goes to buy something online, a notice will pop up if cash back is available. We do most of our shopping for medicine online, but it works for any category of shopping you can think of! The savings are substantial compared to the rest of these options. {$10 when you sign up!} Sign Up Here!
{2} Honey: Honey saves you time! When you are shopping online, instead of googling coupons, Honey automatically does it for you and gives you the option to apply the best coupon out there. You simply sign up using my link and install a button on your internet browser. {Savings at different stores when you sign up!} Sign Up Here!
{3} Panel App: Panel App takes the least effort out of all of these options to make money. You simply download the app onto your phone using my link and turn on your location. That’s it! If you want to add extra points, you can take simple surveys that ask you to confirm what store you visited when, etc. But you don’t have to. You can earn gift cards to places like Amazon by simply downloading the app and leaving your location on. So easy! {100 points when you sign up!} Sign Up Here!
{4} Ibotta: Ibotta gives you money back on what you buy at the grocery store. I don’t pay attention to it before I go to the store. I just get what I was planning on and then check it out when I have minute at home. This way I don’t buy stuff I don’t need, but still get a small discount. I scan my receipt on my phone, and even if I didn’t buy anything on their list, there is always an “any item” option, which I use every time! {$10 when you sign up!} Sign Up Here!
{5} Inbox Dollars: Inbox dollars takes a little more effort, but after hanging out on the site for a while, I will tell you my favorite ways to make money on it, and it is not taking surveys! {1} I let the TV tab run. Every now and then you have to refresh it, but besides that, I just let it run on silent and earn money. {2} I don’t actually take surveys, but if you open a survey and then close it, you get a spin. You can do 20 spins a day which earns more money. The money builds up slowly, but it works really well for when I am sitting down anyway. {$5 when you sign up!} Sign Up Here!
{6} OHM: OHM is a little more involved, but I still think is worth the effort, because on top of the money you make, you also save energy. Here’s how it works, you sign up using my link and then connect your electric utility account. If you allow them, OHM will then contact you via email and/or text to tell you when to save energy. If you use less energy during that hour, than you did the week before, you get points. The points equal money. The great thing is, you can opt out of as many hours as you want by simply clicking a button. Jon and I only use it when it is convenient for us. {$10 when you sign up!} Sign Up Here!
