My husband and I live in a one bedroom apartment, and we love it. It has a great layout, a wood burning fireplace, and for the most part, fits all of our stuff. It does get dirty quickly though, even though it is only us two living here. So I started reading different articles about keeping your house clean and discovered cleaning schedules. I thought these were a great idea to give me some guidance and motivation to take on a cleaning task each day, after a long day at work. I started to feel very overwhelmed though when searching for a schedule to print up and put up in my home. Each schedule seemed so exhausting, way too thorough, and unrealistic. When I pictured the individual actually sticking to this regimen, it left them cleaning from morning until night. That is not what I want to spend my time doing. I wanted to find tools that would help me keep up our home easily, so we could get out and enjoy life. So I decided to make my own, simple, and cute cleaning schedule. Below are many copies of the same schedule, just in a variety of colors. If you like to keep things neat, but don’t enjoy the process, these may be helpful for you. Feel free to download them and share them with your friends! One helpful point that I read from a blogger who had created her own cleaning schedule was to number the days, not name them. This helps a lot because life is crazy and some days you just don’t keep up with the tasks. This allows you to plow on through those chores and just pick up where you left off. You won’t be thrown off for the whole week. Enjoy!
